You're Invited: Norwood Forum Annual Community Review and AGM 2025

What direction do you want our neighbourhood to go in?
Join us for Norwood Forum’s Annual Community Review and AGM, a chance to reflect on the past year and look ahead to our shared future.

We will be covering green issues, public transport/active travel, built environment, community engagement, and wellbeing with a wide range of contributors - including you! - as we gather your priorities for the next round of consultation on the Lambeth Local Plan revisions.

What is the London Local Plan?
All councils are required to produce a Local Plan for their area.
The Lambeth Local Plan 2021 sets out the vision, strategic objectives and policies for development in Lambeth for the period 2020 to 2035. The Plan covers housing, business and town centres, social infrastructure, transport and communications, environment and green infrastructure, quality of the built environment and places and neighbourhoods.
The Plan is about to begin consultations on a review update.
Please come and tell us what your concerns and priorities are.

We will also have a special focus on our 'Green Norwood' initiative and our commitment to building a more sustainable, inclusive and resilient Norwood, and an update on our Public Transport/Active Travel campaign.

This annual event brings together residents, community groups and local partners to celebrate achievements and shape priorities for the year ahead. Whether you’re new to the area or a long-time supporter, your presence and input are hugely valued.

We look forward to seeing you there!

When: Saturday 6 September 2025, 2pm-4.30pm
Were: The Old Library, 14-16 Knights Hill, West Norwood, London SE27 0HY
No need to book - please just turn up with your ideas, ready to share

Our AGM papers will be published here.

Volunteering with Norwood Forum
What does this look like?

Volunteering with Norwood Forum is a great opportunity to:

  • Learn new skills or build on existing ones (e.g. social media, event organising, writing, website management, public speaking)
  • Meet like-minded people in your area
  • Support meaningful community-led projects
  • Help shape the future of Norwood.

Whether you’re completely new to volunteering, or have years of experience - we want to hear from you. Your fresh ideas and perspectives are what help us grow and stay relevant.

The Forum is run by local volunteers who are elected annually. Now is your chance to get involved - however much time you might have.
