Tulse Hill Gyratory Safety Scheme - consultation

You may recall that Norwood Forum launched the Streetworks community project in 2013, aimed at enhancing the street landscape from Tulse Hill to West Norwood. While much of the project has been completed, a few final elements are still to be finished.

West Norwood Cemetery: autumn 2024 update

In our May 2024 update, we shared details of the National Lottery Heritage Fund project at West Norwood Cemetery. Following an October meeting of the shadow Strategic Partnership Board, we can now provide an update on the project and related developments.

192 Norwood Road SE27 9AU: Adult Gaming Centre

In April, we reported on a planning application from Reels Casino Slots Limited to convert the empty shop at 192 Norwood Road SE27 9AU into a 24/7 adult gaming centre. Despite Norwood Forum’s objections to the proposal, Lambeth Council approved the application, limiting operating hours to 8am-11pm.

Re-opening of Brockwell Hall in Spring 2025

Brockwell Hall will once again open its doors thanks to a transformative £7.7 million investment from Lambeth Council, including £3.9 million funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and support of the Brockwell Park Community Partners.

Train station closures this half term

From Saturday 26 October to Friday 1 November work on upgrading signalling systems will impact routes right across south London. Southern, Thameslink, and London Overground trains will not run in the Peckham Rye, Tulse Hill, Crystal Palace and Tooting areas because of signalling upgrades. Lambeth relaunches SEND Youth Forum

Lambeth Council is relaunching its Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Youth Forum, a group for young people aged 14-25 with SEND who live and/or go to school in Lambeth.
