People over 65 years old, especially those with dementia and their carers, are warmly invited to the Tulip Café space every Thursday at 11am to 1pm in All Saints Church on Lovelace Road

Thames Water works - local road closures

The replacement water pipe works at St. Julians Farm Road now have a planned completion date of 31 August 2024. Casewick Road will be closed either at its junction with St Julians Farm Road (as currently) or the junction with Thornlaw Road. It is also planned to close St Julians Farm Road at its junction with Knights Hill from Wednesday 21 August to Sunday 25 August.

No trains between Streatham Hill and Crystal Palace / Norwood Junction from Saturday 24 August to Sunday 1 September

No trains will run between Streatham Hill and Crystal Palace / Norwood Junction for nine days from Saturday 24 August to Sunday 1 September. That's no trains at all at Gipsy Hill and West Norwood stations.

Summer holiday activities and healthy food for children and young people

Lambeth Council's Holiday Activities and Food programme launched at the beginning of the week and ends on 30 August. The programme offers children aged 4 to 16 on benefit related free school meals free food and activities during the summer holidays.

Lambeth Heritage Festival 2024

Organised by Lambeth Archives and the Lambeth Local History Forum, the Heritage Festival takes place across Lambeth throughout September and brings together a host of over 80 different events and activities with the shared aim of celebrating the history and heritage of our borough.

Founded by 12 leading organisations in Lambeth, the partnership represents key sectors such as health, housing, culture, education, and skills. Together, it is committed to achieving the 20 ambitious goals outlined in Lambeth’s Climate Action Plan.
