Gipsy Hill Grows run by South London Botanical Institute (SLBI) - for people with dementia and their carers
What? SLBI will be running two planting sessions with the Magnola Club run by Christ Church, Gipsy Hill. Hosted by Age UK Lambeth, The Magnolia Club is a drop-in for people with dementia and their carers on Wednesday afternoons at Christ Church from 2-4pm. The club is free to attend with no need to book. It’s a small friendly group that aims to provide refreshments, fun, companionship and support.

Who is SLBI?
Founded in 1910 in Tulse Hill, SLBI provides facilities for the study of plants including ecology and conservation, and aims to encourage interest in all aspects of plant life. They have a beautiful botanical garden and run a wide range of courses, workshops, school visits and events for all ages - encouraging participation of people from all ages, backgrounds and levels of learning.
