Fire

With the increased risks resulting from millions of people now working from home, the London Fire Brigade has published top fire safety tips and other advice on fire prevention. The most common causes of domestic fires are cooking, smoking, electrical items and heating sources. #StayHomeStaySafe  

Gas & Electricity
Comprehensive advice on any issues with your energy supply has been published by ofgem here. What to do if you need to sort out your pre-payment top up, suffer a power cut or gas leak, or are due to have a meter fitted – its all here.

Water
Advice and answers to questions you may have on your water supply and wastewater management during the pandemic have been published by ofwat here. Thames Water have a statement here; read that page first before the individual advice pages on leaks, pressure problems etc.

Churches
