Be a local hero: help our street trees

Young street trees need plenty of water to get through the summer heat, with each tree requiring around 50–80 litres a week. A little extra help from local residents can make a big difference.

While contractors are watering them, residents can help too. If you have leftover bath water, washing-up water or paddling pool water, don’t waste it – use it to give a nearby young tree a good drink.
