The restrictions will officially take effect at 0:01 AM on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

Whilst residents of Norwood will obviously play their part in securing our water supplies by adhering to the hose pipe ban issued by Thames Water this week, we have the right to expect the company to play their part by ensuring that any reported leaks are dealt with immediately and effectively. Leaks in our area have been prolific and persistent and have often been left for long periods of time before being fixed. It’s difficult to persuade residents to act wisely to secure this precious resource when water companies are so wasteful.
