Norwood Forum funding update

Our sincere thanks to everyone who made a donation to Norwood Forum following our appeal in our February newsletter. The response was really incredible.
We cannot thank you all enough.

What does this mean?
With these donations and careful use of our reserves, we now have enough funds to cover our core work for the next 12 months. We are keen though to keep our project work going too: Green, Safer, Travel and Thriving Norwood - so further donations would be hugely appreciated - click on the button below to donate via Eventbrite.
To avoid the Eventbrite 5% fee, please contact us direct for our bank details to donate via BACS: pay by BACS

Reserves
Norwood Forum's modest reserves include remaining funds to provide administrative support to the Streetworks project which was largely active between 2015 and 2019. Streetworks was a unique partnership project between TfL, Norwood Forum, the former Tulse Hill Forum and local councillors who worked together with residents, businesses, schools and road users to design a better public space along Norwood Road. Much was achieved including the resurfacing of Norwood Road, but with TfL's financial situation pre and post Covid the key element - the removal of the Tulse Hill Gyratory - was deferred with no timeline.
The Forum continues to lobby for this work and has used some of these reserves to support the new community led campaign Transform Tulse Hill.
With our own financial situation perilous with the 100% removal of our Lambeth Forum Network funding, the Norwood Forum Committee has taken the strategic and prudent decision to transfer the remaining reserves to support our wider community work this year – which will continue to include our support for the removal of the Tulse Hill gyratory.

New administrator
Donations together with judicious use of our reserves means we are able to advertise for a new part time administrator - find all the details here - please share widely with friends and networks.

Reporting
As always, we are 100% committed to giving full and transparent account for all our funding and expenditure at our annual AGM.
