new Sexual and reproductive & HIV strategy 2025-2030

Lambeth Public Health has published its new Sexual and Reproductive & HIV strategy. Initiatives to support work to improve sexual and reproductive health include the development of a women’s health hub, and a new contraceptive service provided by Sexual Health London.

The strategy sets out how Lambeth Public Health will ensure all residents have access to inclusive, confidential and high-quality sexual health services. The new approach will focus on supporting community sexual health and wellbeing and challenge inequalities by prioritising access, prevention and inclusion.

Lambeth has partnered with Southwark, Lewisham, Bexley and Bromley to strengthen sexual health services across south east London and address some of the most significant sexual health challenges in England. A six-week formal consultation was held to gather feedback from the community and partners on how sexual and reproductive health can be improved in our borough.

The new strategy focuses on four key priorities:

  • Healthy and fulfilling sexual relationships

  • Improving reproductive health

  • Reducing the rate of sexually transmitted infections (STIs)

  • Preventing and living well with HIV

Initiatives to support work to improve sexual and reproductive health include the development of a women’s health hub, and residents will also benefit from a new contraceptive service provided by Sexual Health London.
