Visitors are invited to start the festive season in the Print Room & Bindery, using the historic 1880s Albion printing press and vintage hand presses to create their own stock of gift tags, wrapping paper, wooden tree decorations, cards, and perhaps even a stocking.

Each festive piece will be printed by participants themselves, using beautiful wooden and metal type and shapes from the workshop’s extensive collection. Creations will be finished with thermographic powder—perhaps even a touch of glitter—and will be ready to take home at the end of the session.

All materials are included, and no prior experience is required.

The workshop will be led by the Print Room & Bindery’s Creative Directors, Simon Trewin and Tania Hurt-Newton.
