We can all play our part in saving the planet by even the smallest actions. Our local businesses are helping us do this quickly and easily
Three examples:
1: Superdrug will accept used blister packs which can then be used for recycling and often end up as building supplies or even new garden furniture.
2: Community Tech Aid are closing the digital divide by providing technology and skills to our communities, whilst recycling, reusing and repairing e-waste. They will take your old phones and laptops etc, clean/repair/load new software and then donate to organisations ranging from schools, refugee groups, food banks and shelters to mental health support services and young carers. There are two places in West Norwood you can drop them off - see their map here for these and other drop off points across the borough
3: Woodfall Opticians will take old glasses. These are collected and distributed through a charity for re-use.
