This half term, The Clockworks invites children aged 7–11 to join their curator and clockmaker-in-residence for a hands-on workshop exploring the power of electricity and magnetism.
In this interactive, STEM-focused session, participants will power clocks using a pumpkin, create electric trains and motors, and discover how electricity and magnetism play a role in clockmaking - drawing inspiration from the museum's world-class collection of clocks and timekeepers.
The workshop is free to book and tickets are available via Eventbrite.
When: Thursday 30 Oct 2025 10am - 12pm. Doors open at 9.45am
Where: The Clockworks, 6 Nettlefold Place, London SE27 0JW
