white house, Norwood Grove: get involved in its future

Discover the rich history of Norwood Grove, from its origins as a 19th-century estate and mansion lodge - and get involved in its future.

The "White House" features an Orangery together with ornamental gardens and extensive grounds, and is a cherished heritage park within the London Borough of Croydon.  The park and gardens were added to the Heritage at Risk Register in 2024 and Croydon Council is actively involved in obtaining funding to restore the historic features.

The Open House event on Saturday 13 September (see here and the flyer below) will be the start of getting people interested and becoming involved in the future of Norwood Grove. On the day you can give your ideas on the future use of the Stable Blocks and follow online trails in order to appreciate the gardens.
