The Lambeth Health & Wellbeing Bus will be visiting our area throughout the spring, offering health advice sessions focusing on heart health. BMI, blood pressure and cholesterol checks will be offered together with opportunities to talk to the team about health improvements and get information on health and wellbeing:
* Wednesday 1 May 2024 (9:30am-4:30pm): West Norwood Library & Picturehouse, 1-5 Norwood High Street, West Norwood, London SE27 9JX
* Wednesday 8 May 2024 (9:30am-4:30pm): West Norwood Bus Garage, Ernest Ave, West Norwood, London SE27 0HN. With the CVD (cardio-vascular disease) service and in collaboration with AgeUK’s Health Champion offering health and wellbeing information and chats. 
* Thursday 9 May 2024 (9:30am-4:30pm): West Norwood Library & Picturehouse, 1-5 Norwood High Street, West Norwood, London SE27 9JX
* Tuesday 21 May 2024 (9:30am-4:30pm): The Commnity Shop, Vale Street, West Norwood, London SE27 9PA

The next Lambeth Together Public Forum takes place online, on Thursday 9 May from 1 to 2pm. This is an open space for local communities to meet decision-makers, ask questions and raise important issues with the leaders of Lambeth’s health and care system. There’s no agenda and you don’t need to sign up to participate. This is followed by the Lambeth Together Board meeting in public from 2 to 5pm, also online. Anyone is welcome to stay to observe the Board discussions, andwith an opportunity to ask questions at the end. Rathbone Youth Centre has a Coding Club starting up on Tuesdays from 28 May.

4in10 is hosting an in-person two-hour event for current or prospective members of London's Child Poverty Network. The Child Poverty Free Communities in Lambeth event will be to provide local organisations and residents across Lambeth with up to date information on the context of child poverty across this borough. 

The Kingswood Arts May newsletter incudes a reminder about their Kingswood Estate's Family Fun Day on Saturday 11 May 2024, hosted as part of Dulwich Festival.

Join Solve the School Run after school in Brockwell Park (Rosendale Gate) on Friday 24 May to celebrate the new and improved bike lane, which is making the journey to school better for so many children. You will find more details here on our events page.
