Junior Doctors are on strike from Saturday 24 – Wednesday 28 February 2024, and the NHS advise that hospitals will be under a lot of pressure again. They advise:

• Only go to the Emergency Department (A&E) or call 999 for a life-threatening emergency or serious injury
• If you are unwell, contact your GP
• If you cannot contact your GP, go to NHS 111 online
• For a mental health emergency go to NHS 111 online
• And you can also visit your local pharmacy for expert advice and medicines.
