Crystal Palace Dinosaurs

A new and lockable swing bridge has been installed that will make it possible for the Friends of Crystal Palace Dinosaurs to hold tours so we can all get up close to the dinosaurs for the first time.

Census 2021: further information

The census is coming. By taking part, you can help inform decisions about services that shape our community, such as healthcare, education and transport. It’s important that you fill in your census questionnaire because it gives us the most detailed information we have about our society.

Lambeth Archives is repeating its successful series of online talks - every Thursday at 7pm. The following talks have been announced so far:

Big Garden Birdwatch

During lockdown, you may have been taking more notice of your surroundings, and birds are probably the most visible form of wildlife for Londoners. Read about the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch, which takes place over the weekend 29/31 January 2021.

Emergency School Streets

Lambeth Council is still consulting on the introduction by Lambeth of Emergency School Streets, a scheme set up by the council to restrict vehicle access to streets around schools in the borough during pick up and drop off times. Emergency vehicles are still be able to access the road but in general road usage is deterred, including vehicles driven by parents to the school gates.

London Transport charges

The overall cost of London’s public transport costs will rise by an average of 2.6% on 1 March 2021.
