Lambeth’s Economic Resilience Fund (Phase Two) launched

Phase 2 of the Lambeth Economic Resilience Fund will support businesses which continue to be most severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. As the economy begins to reopen, these grants will support businesses to recover and help Lambeth high streets to reopen safely, building on Phase 1 which provided over 600 cash grants to businesses across Lambeth.  The second phase will target:

  • cultural and creative industries, and their supply chains
  • independent hospitality and leisure businesses, and their supply chains

Businesses from these priority sectors, which are unable to access the Restart Grant or Local Restrictions Support Grant (LRSG) may be eligible, provided they have fixed commercial costs, employees and at least 20% income loss. Organisations will not need a business rate liability to qualify.

Grant awards of either £10,000 or £25,000 will be available for these businesses depending on their size and extent of income loss due to the pandemic.

Applications for the second phase of the Economic Resilience Fund open at 9:30am on Friday 28 May 2021. These applications will be assessed on a first come, first serve basis; the application form will be available for a short period of time at www.lambeth.gov.uk/ERF
