The campaign held a second public meeting this evening - minutes to follow - but the main decision taken was to form a Steering Group with an online meeting in two weeks time for anyone interested in joining.

A New Met for London: consultation

The Metropolitan Police is consulting the public on their New Met for London (NMfL 2) plan. They say this is a vital opportunity for Londoners to have a say on their policing priorities; they want to reach as many voices as possible in order to ensure the plan reflects the experiences and concerns of our diverse community.

Julian's Primary School - Fire

Many of you may have heard on the grapevine that there was a major fire at the Streatham site of Julian's Primary School overnight between 22 and 23 August.

Lambeth Heritage Festival 2025

Organised by Lambeth Archives and the Lambeth Local History Forum (Norwood Forum is a member), the Heritage Festival takes place across Lambeth throughout September and brings together a host of over 80 different events and activities with the shared aim of celebrating the history and heritage of our borough.

This year the Festival opens with the Lambeth Local History Fair at Clapham Library, Mary Seacole Centre, 91 Clapham High Street, London SW4 7DB on 6 September 2025 (10am - 4.30pm).
