London moved to new tier 4: Stay at Home

From 12:01am last Sunday 20 December 2020 London and the South East was moved to Tier 4 Covid-19 measures.

You can read the Government advice on what you can and cannot do now in our area here. There is also advice from the Mayor of London here. Importantly, amongst other things, you can no longer form a Christmas bubble.  This means you cannot spend Christmas with anyone who you do not live with or who is not in your support bubble. You should not travel outside of Tier 4 to other areas over the Christmas period.

The Government states:

"Approximately 1 in 3 people who have coronavirus have no symptoms and could be spreading it without realising it. Remember - ‘Hands. Face. Space.’

  • hands – wash your hands regularly and for at least 20 seconds
  • face – wear a face covering in indoor settings where social distancing may be difficult, and where you will come into contact with people you do not normally meet
  • space – stay 2 metres apart from people you do not live with where possible, or 1 metre with extra precautions in place (such as wearing face coverings)".
