Lambeth Libraries opening up

From today Monday 17 May the government Roadmap out of lockdown Step 3 comes into effect and library services across Lambeth continue with a gradual opening up. You can make an appointment at Upper Norwood and West Norwood Libraries to browse books, use a PC and book a study space:

Browsing by appointment: From Monday Brixton, Carnegie, Clapham, Minet, Upper Norwood and West Norwood libraries will be providing browsing by appointment. On 24 May Waterloo Library will join them. As soon as safely possible all other Lambeth libraries will open for browsing by appointment. Streatham Library is now open for 'Select and Collect' Monday to Wednesday and Saturday 11am-4pm. On Thursday and Friday a lateral flow test centre operates from the building. We expect to offer more library services from Streatham from 31 May. If you know anyone who cannot get out and would like some books, do put them in touch and Lambeth Lbraries will arrange to visit them at home.

PC booking, study space and 'Select and Collect': all available by appointment. You can book an appointment to use a PC, to print, photocopy/scan, browse, or study just call or email your local branch during opening hours, or contact libraries@lambeth.gov.uk

Group meetings in libraries: arrangements are beginning to change and these will be re-introduced library by library as is safe to do so; check your local library for advice. For now online activities will continue but gradually real life groups will start to return.

The plethora of free online resources remains available.
