18-21 How to Be a Producer Course: National Theatre

Have you ever wondered what a producer does and how they do it? Are you passionate about theatre, music and art and want to create cultural events that inspire others? Are you a creative thinker and do you like solving problems? Then this producing course is for you! 

Led by the National Theatre Young Peoples Programme, and a host of cultural producers and mentors from across the creative industries, you will discover how exciting and versatile the role of the producer is. On the course you will learn about; budgeting, marketing, project management, working with artists and how to pull this altogether to create your own event.  

After this course, anyone who has taken part will have the opportunity to apply to be part of our Young Producers Takeover to put learning into practice. This course is for 18 – 21 year-old and is completely free to take part in. The course will take in-person at National Theatre.  

2023 Course Dates:  
Wednesday 1 February 6pm – 8pm – Meet & Greet  
Monday 13 - Friday 17 February 10.30am – 5.30pm every day
