Get ready for the forthcoming Lambeth local elections

On Thursday 5 May 2022 residents in Lambeth will have the opportunity to vote for who represents them on Lambeth Council. But you will only be able to vote if you are registered.

It only takes five minutes online to register to vote. And if you know you will not be to vote in person at your polling station because of being away, at work, or unable to get to a polling station, you can always register for a postal vote.

The full Lambeth Council elections are held every four years and this is the first time the new ward boundaries and polling stations have been used. Some voters will be voting for two rather than the familiar three candidates, e.g. in Gipsy Hill which is now a smaller ward.  Also as some voters will be using a different polling station, please check your elector's card when it arrives in April. For a map of the new ward boundaries and location of polling stations, see our earlier story on the results of the polling station and polling district review.

We expect a full list of candidates to be published by Lambeth Electoral Services no later than 6 April 2022.
