The local council elections are on Thursday 7 May 2026. If you want to vote, you must be registered. You can apply online to register to vote. It is quick and easy to do and the deadline is fast approaching: Monday 20 April.
To get registered, go to gov.uk/register-to-vote; it only takes five minutes online. If you do not wish to vote at your polling station, or know you will not be able to vote in person because of being away, at work, or unable to get to the polling station, you can always register for a postal vote or for a proxy vote for someone else to vote on your behalf.
All the key information you need is on the the Lambeth Council election page here.
