London’s merriest ceilidh night (AKA Folk Of The Wood) returns to SE27’s Portico Gallery.

Expect a rousing night of dancing, pipes and haggis fuelled revelry! Featuring Ceilidh Tree plus caller to show the moves, special guest highland piper and orator to summon the spirit of the great man Robbie Burns.

Haggis plus trimmings courtesy of Beamish & McGlue plus local ales and whiskey at the bar.

Enjoy classics like Gay Gordons, Strip The Willow, Virginia Reel delivered by masterful caller Zoot, plus highland fling competition and prize for the fluffiest sporran!

Early booking advised – Burns Nights are Folk of the Wood's most popular events of the year and always tend to sell out! Proceeds are to the Folkstars non-profit which has been established to provide free instruments and tuition for primary school children
